Meghan received a Bachelor degree from Willamette College in 2003, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Biology. Following graduation, Meghan spent three years in the Peace Corps, working primarily in Peru as a Community Health Activist. At ComiteMD, Meghan supervised patient orientation and serves as a liaison between Dr. Comite and her patients. During her free time, Meghan enjoys surfing and has traveled as far as Hawaii to pursue her interests. In August 2011, Meghan began Medical School at Western University of Health Sciences. Former Clinical Associate
Jillian graduated from Sarah Lawrence College in 2005 with a major in Liberal Arts and a concentration in Biology. Prior to working at ComiteMD, Jillian completed her Post-Baccalaureate at Columbia University. At ComiteMD, Jillian served as a Clinical Associate, preparing patient charts with data and follow up relevant to their appointments. In July of 2010 Jillian left her position at ComiteMD to enter medical school and is currently studying at Jefferson Medical School. Michael Natter

Michael graduated from Skidmore College in 2008 with a major in Psychology, a concentration in Neuroscience, and a minor in Studio Art. He presented his senior thesis at the prestigious Vision Science Society Conference. Michael worked at ComiteMD during 2010 and is currently pursuing a Post-Baccalaureate degree at Columbia University with the aim of studying endocrinology in medical school. Catherine Ntabadde

Catherine graduated fromThe City College of New York where she majored in Psychology and minored in Biology. Catherine worked at ComiteMD from 2008-2010 where she managed front desk operations and maintained on-going relations with patients. Catherine left ComiteMD in the fall of 2010 to pursue a graduate degree in Public Health, specializing in epidemiology. She currently attends Drexel University. Rebecca Nye

Rebecca ("Becca") worked with Dr. Florence Comite for nine years, at both the New Haven and New York offices of ComiteMD. Becca's primary responsibilites included clinical support, medical information management and assisting Dr. Comite with the development of both patient-centered medical reports and prevention-based protocols. Becca is trained, and has practiced clinically, in both Western Biomedicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine; she received nursing training, a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services and a Master of Science degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine. Becca left ComiteMD in 2011 to focus her energies on her private acupuncture practice in New York. Andrea Perales

Andrea graduated from Tufts University in 2004 with a major in Economics, received her Masters in Public Health from Columbia University in 2005 and completed a Post-Baccalaureate degree at Columbia University. She began work at ComiteMD in 2008 and served as a "point person" for prospective patients, answering questions and providing next-step guidance. Andrea left ComiteMD to enter medical school and is currently attending New Jersey Medical School. Emily Poppens

Emily graduated from Rhodes College in 2004 with a degree in International Studies and Economics. Following graduation, she worked for AstraZeneca for four years as a Pharmaceutical Representative. In May 2010 Emily completed her Post Baccalaureate at New York University and is currently attending medical school to study the integration of psychiatry and metabolism. During her free time Emily loves to ski and has traveled to Lake Tahoe, Snowbird and Park City to pursue the sport. Meryl Ueno
Clinical Associate
Meryl joined the ComiteMD Clinical Team in July 2010. She graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles in 2004 with a Bachelor degree in Communication Studies and a minor in Japanese. After college, Meryl worked in Japan and Hawaii then returned to the United States where she received a Masters degree in Secondary Education from Columbia University. While teaching Social Studies at Manhattan Village Academy, Meryl discovered a passion for medicine. She entered New York University in 2008 to obtain her Post-Baccalaureate Pre Medical Certificate. Meryl has volunteered at both Columbia Presbyterian Hospital and The Hospital for Joint Diseases and entered medical school in the fall of 2011. In her spare time Meryl enjoys playing soccer, drinking fine wines and is widely considered a gourmand. Lauren Zuckerman
Physician Assistant
Lauren graduated from Florida State University in 2006 with a degree in Family and Child Sciences. She attended Physician Assistant School at Weill Cornell Medical College where she received a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in 2009. At Cornell, Lauren focused her thesis on the effects of perinatal depression on the fetus. A native of Florida, Lauren is a passionate Miami Dolphins fan. |
