Exercise Physiologist
Steven Villagomez graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2007 with a Master degree in Exercise Physiology and has conducted research in the areas of metabolism, obesity, and human performance. He is certified through the American College of Sports Medicine, the leading fitness and sports organization in the United States. Steven is the resident exercise physiologist and nutrition counselor at ComiteMD. His responsibilities include operating the exercise physiology lab and preparing a comprehensive fitness assessment and nutritional review for each ComiteMD patient. Outside of the office, Steven is an aspiring chef and would eventually like to open his own restaurant. Susan Barrett
Physician Assistant
Susan graduated from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Biology. After graduating, she moved to New York City where she worked in the pharmaceutical industry, in medical education, prior to commencing Physician Assistant training. Susan received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Long Island University in Brooklyn, New York. Prior to working at ComiteMD, Susan practiced as a Physician Assistant in internal medicine at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx. At ComiteMD, Susan is a member of the Clinical Team and assists Dr. Comite in diagnosing, treating and preventing disease. Additionally, she teaches patients the value of their lab reports and how to interpret them. Outside the office, Susan loves to cook, but she equally enjoys trying out new restaurants in the city. Jennifer Hankins
Physician Assistant
After graduating from Eastern Nazarene College in 2002, with a degree in Chemistry & Mathematics, Jennifer attended Massachusetts College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences, and received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2009. She joined ComiteMD in September 2011, and assists the physicians in diagnosing, treating and preventing disease. Additionally, she teaches patients the value of their lab reports and how to interpret them. In her free time, Jeni is a voracious reader, and also enjoys outdoor activities, including hiking with her dog. Ryan Canissario

Ryan started at Comite MD in September of 2011. Ryan graduated from Cornell University in 2007, where he majored in Applied Economics & Management. He worked in digital marketing as a Project Manager, after which he enrolled in the Premedical Postbaccalaureate Program, and hopes to attend medical school in the near future. Olivia Sorial

Olivia Sorial graduated from Barnard College in 2011, and began working at Comite MD soon after. She plans on attending medical school in the near future, and likes cats and tea. |
